Michael E. Anderson



Michael E. Anderson concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate, real estate, and creditors' rights matters in both Indiana and Illinois. Mr. Anderson has substantial experience in representing secured and unsecured creditors in areas including collection, residential and commercial foreclosure, receivership, replevin, mechanic's liens, UCC matters, asset discovery, and bankruptcy. Mr. Anderson has also represented clients in the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of residential and commercial real estate. In addition, Mr. Anderson counsels corporate clients in matters ranging from formation, employment, general litigation, and dissolution.

Mr. Anderson received his Juris Doctorate in 2005 from Valparaiso University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University Kelley School of Business in 2002.

Mr. Anderson is licensed to practice law in Illinois and Indiana.

Mr. Anderson is a member of the Lake County Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, the Calumet American Inns of Court, Merrillville Kiwanis, and the Crossroads Regional Chamber of Commerce of Northwest Indiana.

Outside of the practice of law, Mr. Anderson enjoys traveling, soccer, and also volunteers with the Lakeview Pantry in Chicago, Illinois, where he serves on the Board of Directors.
